If you are a sufferer of Gynecomastia you obviously understand how horrible this condition is. It’s very difficult for men with this condition to easily join others in taking off their cloths and going swimming. For those people that have no idea what Gynecomastia is, it’s a condition where enlarged breasts grow in the chest of men, like it is with females.
This happens when fat and tissues build up to enlarge the breasts; leaving men with such condition really ashamed of themselves. Believe this or not, the condition of having enlarged male breasts is more common than one can imagine. Lots of teens undergo this condition during puberty but it doesn’t become an issue because it disappears on it’s own without any form of treatment. It’s also confirmed that elderly men have enlarged breasts as they age and add weight.
Don’t just shrug your shoulders when you notice you have enlarged breasts; it could be a sign of a worse condition – a tumor. There could be other cases where this can be a result of other problems like – a hormone-secreting tumor in other organs and the breast. Enlargement of the breasts is sometimes common with Klinefelter’s syndrome. You will know from an examination by your doctor if this enlargement is due to excess fat or something worse.
It’s obvious you now want to know what kind of gynecomastia treatment is available. When it comes to true Gynecomastia, because of the excess gland tissue there’s no treatment that really cures it, other than surgery. In cases of excess fat which is Pseudogynecomastia there are ways to eliminate the chest fat naturally. Alternatively, when the male breasts enlargement is occasioned by a medication or condition you’re suffering from, another medication can be given to you to counter the effects.
Since men with excess fat on their body, especially their chest region, are more prone to this problem, it will help if they do some form of exercise that targets the chest region — as a way of reducing the fat in that region. In addition to exercise, some natural herbs can assist in the reduction of chest fat as well.
